February 29, 20206 yr I have LNM 2.4.4 on both client and server (Flying) PCs. I have LNMConnect on the Server. The dialogues on both machines show that they are connected. When I open the client there is a map but no data apart from roads, ILS and a few other bits and bobs. When I right click, 'Set as Flight Plan Departure' etc is greyed out. Under the Scenery Library menu, when I open Scenery Library the MS Flight Simulator X is checked at the top. But the only Simulator option under 'Load Scenery Library' is X-plane. There is no option to choose FSX. On the server (flying PC) everything is working and I have the 'all10' Global files installed on it. It seems that the scenery database is missing from the client. I'd be grateful for advice on to sort this. Edited February 29, 20206 yr by betelgeuse John
February 29, 20206 yr You have load and then copy one of the scenery library database files ("little_navmap_fsx.sqlite" or others) to the client. Do not try to load the scenery library across a network connection. See here for details: How to run a network Setup. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
February 29, 20206 yr Author Thanks. I followed all this exactly but still get the same result. Context menu on client map is largely greyed out. No option to select FSX under Load Scenery Library - I realise this is not the way to load the db. I copied it across as advised. I mention it because there is an FSX option on the Flying PC under Load Scenery Library. Edited February 29, 20206 yr by betelgeuse John
February 29, 20206 yr Author Everything seems to be alright now. I re-booted both machines twice and suddenly the problem went away. Thanks for the program and help. John
March 1, 20206 yr Maybe you still had LNM on the client running when copying the file? A restart is normally not needed. Anyway, glad it is working now. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
