Hello

 

I have assigned my contollers switches and buttons to the specific actions for the PMDG 737NGX.  I now wish to copy the same assignments over to the PMDG 737NGXu.  I have the 737NGXu module in place, how do I replicate the switches and buttons from the 737NGX to the 737NGXu

Locate the 2 aircraft /LINDA-cfg folders and copy the config-hid.lua and config-mcpX.lua (if appropriate) files from the original to the other. Remember that some functions may have changed between the 2 variants.

OK  thanks......I do not have a config-mcpX.lua file , therefore I can only copy and paste the the config-hid.lua file.  As a matter of interest what does the config-mcpX.lua file relate too?

Searching again. I do have:

Config-mcp

Config-mcp2

Config-mcp2a

 

It refers to a VRI Combo panel set up if you had one. 

You will need to turn on file extensions in Windows. The config-mcpX.lua files would be active only if you use the VRI Combo panel. Also present are config-mcpX.default files are used to initially populate the .lua files. ( X = blank for MCP1, 2 for MCP2 Boeing and 2a for MCP Airbus. )
