[Closed] Problem with aircraft.cfg

Recommended Posts

With the most recent version 1.013.6, the app inserted its [FSREBORN_LIGHTS_CTRL] section in aircraft.cfg in the middle of the flightsim entries, for example after [fltsim.13] and before [fltsim.14]. I only noticed this by accident because this caused AI Companion to not display information for a few paints. I checked a few random aircraft.cfgs and the RSFL files were all affected. These are all AIG OCI SimObjects. I did not notice a problem with the previous version of your app.

Hi there,

Open the configuration tab and run a restore original AI lights.

Then re-run the scan, tell me where the FSREBORN_LIGHTS_CTRL goes.

I suspect the problem is with AIGM-OCI instead when it updates itself, all my tests here are adding the section at the end of the file.

In passing AI companion needs also correction, it is not warrantee all AI models repaint are listed sequentially in an Aircraft.cfg file, I found that issue myself and had to cater for this situation in my parser algorithms.

Regards,

Simbol

Thanks. I suppose when multiple apps try to add lines to the end of aircraft.cfg, this result is inevitable.

Yes, but if you do my steps which is super quick might get you out of trouble very quickly.

Let me know how it goes.

I'll have to wait until it happens again. I couldn't find any more files that showed the issue and I manually fixed the few before I saw your first response

Ahh I see. Ok I will close this ticket then. If you get any other issues just let me know.

S.
