March 28, 20206 yr Hello, I'd like to remove the extruded road and rail bridges from X-Plane 11, as often they are not at all realistic and can be verging on silly, paticlarly the Orbx TE ones. Can this be done easily pease? Best Phil
March 28, 20206 yr I don´t really know what you are asking here - but I have a vague idea that you object to the unnatural way that X-Plane interprets the OSM data on bridges and overpasses sometimes - creating steep, convoluted and unpassable-looking bridges? At any rate, the answer is no. Only Laminar Research can change this, as it is a core functionality of the simulator. Changing the street/bridge data is possible, but not without profound knowledge of the inner workings of X-Plane and not globally. The closest thing that we users can do is exclude the roads (forming the bridges) on a case by case basis (using WED) and adding custom made "bridge" objects in their place. "Done easily" does not really describe this process, though. Jan
March 28, 20206 yr Author Thanks for replying Jan, Yes you have understood the problem correctly, I was hoping there may have been a quick fix for it as you kindly gave me for removing vehicles. No worries! Best Phil
