Default Airports Textur With Megascenery??

Featured Replies

I’ve just bought a bunch of the Megascenery states on sale as the temptation to see my house in the sim (Wisconsin) was too strong (and it HAS been fun!)

But it seems that my local KSBM is now not aligned with the ortho scenery nor are other default fields...I need to extend my default airport’s runway etc. probably in ADE?

In the meantime, don’t the default P3Dv4 airports have default grass textures within the airport boundary to disguise the fact they don’t match with the orthos?

Does Megascenery Earth or Nuvecta autogen make the landclass/default grass texture disappear?

On a related note, I can use ADE..what is the best way to align the default airports exactly with their orthoscenery base?

Thanks,

Steve

Check back at the Megascenery website as I believe they offer free AFCADs to align to photoreal scenery.  It's not created by Mega themselves but from another simmer and I think its by state for d/l.

Also I would google a search on AFCADs for the state you want and also try the library here.

Hope that helps,
