April 7, 20206 yr Author Yeah I added 2 scenes but the trees are missing in some areas. I added all components. What should I be looking for to add the trees? Both have a AutogenConfigurationMerger. How does this work when manually adding scenery? Justsimm UUWW and Tropicalsim LPSJ. Thanks for the help. Maurice J I9 12900k \ EVGA 3080ti \ G-Skill 32GB \ Samsung 4K TV
April 7, 20206 yr Commercial Member Sorry, I am not really knowledgable about autogen. I think that those autogen managers manipulate the default autogen configuration file(s) in C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Autogen. So that is where you need to apply them. If that works with P3D when you are using FSX sceneries, I don't know - you will have to try. make sure to keep a backup of the Autogen folder in a safe place. From what I know, autogen definition merge is no longer necessary with P3D V4.5. The scenery developers should be able to add to the default.xml externally too. You could try adding an Autogen component to your external package, create an empty "default.xml" file there and apply those merger programs to that file. Theoretically the file will then only contain what the Merger program adds to it, giving the P3D mechanism a chance to merge them internally. But I have no idea how and if that actually works Best regards Edited April 7, 20206 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
