April 16, 20206 yr Hi I'm now having to work on X-Plane on a smaller machine than normal for me - it doesn't have a number-pad. Is that ok to work with? is there a keyboard sheet or video showing how to use X-Plane with only the small keyboard, mouse and joystick? Gaz How does Moses make his coffee? Hebrews it. I took the shell off my racing snail, thinking it would make him run faster. If anything, that made him more sluggish. Gaz on Facebook
April 16, 20206 yr By default, the number pad is only used for preset camera views anyway, so you should be okay. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

I'll give it a go myself, but I'm not sure the spec is good enough. Thanks for getting back to me. How does Moses make his coffee? Hebrews it. April 17, 20206 yr You can re-assing keys at your leisure in X-Plane. So if you want to use a function that is normally assigned to the num-keys, just put them somewhere else. Also note that often there is a key to hold down that turns some "regular keys" into numpad keys on laptops, so that may be a way out for you. Jan

The quick look keys are not really essential. Also see Janov's reply. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
