Well if MS releases MSFS on steam I will wait and pick it up at discounted price , some studio`s are not porting to steam for that reason BF5 is another the older ones are on steam.

What other developers/publishers do isn't really that relevant to what Microsoft has been doing, which is bringing some of their flagship game titles to Steam. Maybe they won't bring MSFS to Steam, but I think odds are good that they will. The Flight Sim series has long been a PC title, Steam is the biggest storefront for PC games and Microsoft has said they want to bring their games to where the users are. If Microsoft wanted to push people to use their own Microsoft Store exclusively, Halo, Gears of War and Age of Empires wouldn't be on Steam.
