What other developers/publishers do isn't really that relevant to what Microsoft has been doing, which is bringing some of their flagship game titles to Steam. Maybe they won't bring MSFS to Steam, but I think odds are good that they will. The Flight Sim series has long been a PC title, Steam is the biggest storefront for PC games and Microsoft has said they want to bring their games to where the users are.
