Prepar3D not working with 780 Ti

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I've been running Prepar3D v4.5 flawlessy with my current PC specs. I wanted to give a try to v5 to see the diifferences (I don't want to swap to v5 yet), but I cannot manage it to run. I am getting the following errors:

I didn't want to upgrade my beloved 780 Ti until RTX 30s are out. Is there any workaround for that issue?

Thanks!

Afraid not, 780 Ti doesn't have full-feature DirectX 12 support and P3Dv5 is now running DirectX12.

Nope, your card does not meet the minimum requirements for V5.

Thanks both for your replies. That was my guess but now I have a confirmation. I'll stick with v4.5 until I upgrade the computer then.
