April 29, 20206 yr When I create a new pushback route, the first waypoint polygon is shown in yellow. Subsequent waypoints do no show up in the top-down view - which is a nuisance - and the first one remains yellow. When restoring the airport map window, the subsequent waypoints are there though. This is with UGCX V1.9, P3DV4.5 HF3. I previously created a pushback route for another gate at the same airport and the red polygons then appeared in the top-down OK (can't remember if this was with V1.7 or V1.8). Can this be looked at ? I may have done something wrong of course, but I thought I followed the manual to the letter. Thanks in advance ! Cheers, Emile Bax.
April 29, 20206 yr Commercial Member Hey EmileB, The top-down view and chart viewer window has a sync mechanism that when you create a waypoint in either each one, for example: if you create/move a waypoint, it should reflect in both the map window and top-down view in the simulation. However, there are few times, where these get unsync, so you may see the waypoints in the chart viewer window but not in the top-down view. In these cases, there is a toolbar button in the chart viewer's window named "Preview route", which actually turns on/off the preview of the route in the simulation, this forces, the system to sync again. It's kinda a "reset" button, so both the chart viewer and top-down view gets sync again. you can press that toolbar button to turn off the preview in simulation of the route, then click it again to turn it on. Then after that it should reflect both the same thing: chart viewer and top-down view. Try that and let me know. This only needs to be done once, and it should continue being sync with any changes you make to the route, either in the chart viewer or top-down view. Note: There is an equivalent menu option to that "Preview route" toolbar button in chart viewer's window menu: "Route" -> "Current parking" -> "Preview route in the simulation" Manuel Edited April 29, 20206 yr by Manuel82
