April 29, 20206 yr Swiss Pro uses photos from 2005/2006 so they are very outdated. Mega Scenery Earth Switserland has multiple places with color differences and some places are having way too much hue. ItalyPhotoReal (Weebly) has it but there are too many brown parts between the green parts. Making it myself with FSET is possible but it will be around 50-60 Gb and that will take days too DL it. And then I have to cut out the bigger lakes. And if I want it to look great I also need to cut out the main rivers. Together it will be a 3-4 months project. All suggestions are welcome .. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
April 29, 20206 yr Commercial Member I settled on ItalyPhotoReal + autogen from Matthias. Nothing better yet. In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.

April 29, 20206 yr Swit-Z-erland ** Swiss pro X, maybe? ...but it is expensive. Edited April 29, 20206 yr by MaDDogz Luke Pype

The ItalyPhotoReal ( Weebly ) version is the best out of the three regarding sharpness. Drawback is some colordifferences and photo lakes instead of P3Dv5 water. I wil try adding the Swiss Pro Objects (POIs) and see how it looks . Matthias AG I already had. Icw Samsceve Zurich and AS LSZH it might look good. Will test that tomorrow. April 29, 20206 yr You could try to create your own with Ortho4XP for P3D. It's basically the same thing that exists for XP11. https://github.com/stackTom/Ortho4XP_FSX_P3D As far as I know, it should do the water masks automatically and is able to generate autogen from OSM data via scenProc, so it's not that hard. Maybe try with one tile for the beginning and see you if you like the result? I remember that it really worked well for me, when I tried it.. but you have to see how it works with your performance in the end 🙂 Edited April 29, 20206 yr by roesti
