Featured Replies

Hello ,
I cannot see my saved flight plans, nor see the button import flight plan? they are in the C: \ ProgramData \ Garmin \ Trainers \ Databases \ FPLN folder.
I have the new version 2.5.24
I'm on xplane 11.50 b4.
what have I been doing for 2 days already?
I even re download for a new installation.

Hi,

I'd suggest you review the RXP log files (see RXP manuals for file/path).

The expected path for the flight plans (if not present) will be printed there, along with any other relevant problem if any.

I consulted the manual and followed the procedure, I cannot find

Ok but can you paste the content of these log files?

As for the Import Flightplan 'button' and just in case, make sure to really read the manual because it is a multi-step menu/button/menu/button etc... before seeing it.

C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases\FPLN

I'm not sure then what you've consulted and followed, but please, look at the RXP GTN User's Manual "Troubleshooting" chapter for the location the log files on the hard drive. Then open file explorer, navigate to the location, and find the RXP log files.

Once you've opened the files (these are text files you can open with notepad), you can "select all", "copy" then "paste" into your message in the forum. With this information I'll be able to further guide you through.

This is the folder where you're supposed to create the FPLN sub folder:

F:\GTN 750 _2\Databases\FPLN

I saw the import button,
A big thank you to you.
thanks again.

Let me add, for the benefit of posterity, that after several hours reading half a dozen forum threads like this one and trying everything from recreating folder structures to setting environment variables to Registry tweaks, I finally found the solution to the same problem:  I uninstalled the lot, and reinstalled with the default installation paths.  Immediate fix.  Phew.

Thank you for the update on this.

In another recent discussion it was pointed out you must make sure there are only flight plan files, and optionally the user waypoints file in this folder, otherwise the GTN won't display the import button either. (some customers reported having some readme.txt or similar file in the FPLN folder making it fail).

@Hatler Hi,

I'm wondering how difficult was it to read the forum first, and find this discussion on the 1st page, which topic is "no flight plan"?
