Error Code:    0x80004005

If anyone reading this has encountered this perhaps you'd share what you did to correct it.

It has killed sound for both P3dV4.5 HF2 and XP-11.40.

Other sound for things like you tube i can still get to function.

I've googled it and thoughts on how to correct it vary to say the least.

Thanks for any help.

I had to reinstall my Graphic Card Driver. Problem solved.

I think it may be somehow tied into motherboard drivers after digging through an MSI forum..

Fixed. MB drivers for sound were the problem. Found the solution on the MSI forums for replacement drivers.
