Maule and Goose

Featured Replies

Im confused as to why these two airplanes dont show up in my list (I bought the standard edition because I have no patience and they were out of deluxe lol). The folders for them are in the aircraft folder so if they included the planes then why not just make them useable?

In the Deluxe version there is a check at the bottom, that says, "show all variations". Does yours have that if so check and take another look.Danny

yeah i tried that but they still arent there. I guess they are just there as ai planes but when you look at the cfg file it looks like it has all the same info and everything as the regular planes, like all the different camera settings and what not.

The Goose and the Maule Ski version are only in the Deluxe edition.

Impatience has its price. I knew it wouldn't be long before this kind of question surfaced. Just like FS2002 Standard and Professional, all over again.;)Allcott

I knew before I bought it that the planes wouldnt be included, I just was wondering why the folders for them are there is all. And yes I learned my lesson about impatience lol

I didn't buy the Standard - both my copies are Deluxe. If the folders are present - are the model files, air file, aircraft.cfg and textures there? The way to make aircraft not show up in the Select Aircraft window is to remove the panel folder. If you add a panel folder - the aircraft shows up.

Sure enough. I added a panel (the beaver panel) and now I have the goose and both maule versions. The vcs dont have any guages but I do most of my flying from spot view anyway. Thanks for the info. And yes all files except the panel are there. I checked the pa28_180 and md_83 folders and all they have is texture model and soundai folder these have all textures and regular sound folder, as well as checklist and reference files.

I'm guessing they are there to be used as AI aircraft - but with limitations.I'm probably going to have to buy a copy of STD so I can work on AI.

Two computers - one for flying and one for testing - and I'll probably buy two more - though at least one will be STDAnd I own four copies of FS2004.Being in the IT business for over 20 years, I learned long ago the hard way to not do systematic testing or development on a computer I want to work well for entertainment.
