Atis

Recommended Posts

Hello folks, hope all is well during this lock up.

I,m using the Zibo 737-800, and it really does not matter what plane im using.

When i load RC, and im ready to get Atis two different atis recordings will come up. and they are two different freq.

For instance, I live in INDY and the icao code is KIND. the atis freq. 134.250.

But with RC. when I push the key #2, to get Atis. (after of course i have loaded the corrected flight plan) , I will get two different recordings , they will be close but they may be different in wind and direction, and the barometer will be off by several points  and the runways will be always different.

The question is how come RC, has a different freq. and why is it different. from the kind.

I follow the RC. instructions or i will be off.

With the Zibo 737-800, I actually set the freq 134.175 and got one freq.

But with RC, the Atis was 124.400, and I got a whole different recording.

Am I missing something.

Thx...........RobertC

Hi Robert,

You're hearing the default ATC as well as RC4's. I think you may be using X-Plane but the procedure should be the same as P3D. Turn your ATC sound slider to zero.
