GTN750 remove duplicate waypoint

Featured Replies

Recently started flying into KBHB (Bar Harbour) - in the GTN 750 database it has a duplicate entry with one in France - anyone know if its possible to remove a dupe so you don't have to the LOC issue on a flightplan? (I know you can edit the flightplan and add the airport by picking the right one - but this would say a few steps)

thanks

Use the North America only database is the only way I am aware of.  You will see it described on this Garmin web page:
https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=12373

If you open the standalone trainer just to it's opening screen you will find the selection in the Settings menu.  Be aware that using a North America only database will not eliminate all duplicate waypoint names.  Surprisingly there are some that are duplicated even just within the USA.
