May 21, 20206 yr I'm about to replace my 30 year old CH Eclipse. It's pots are past their best, odd spikes and jitters, and it is difficult/impossible to calibrate sometimes. The Honeycomb is a possible replacement. Before shelling out my hard-earned, I need to know if anyone is using it successfully in XP Linux, and if so, in which distro. Thanks! John
May 23, 20206 yr Been using it without problems for several monthe (arch). Defintely will see an improvement over that old CH.
May 23, 20206 yr Author That's good to know. Thanks for the info. Any problems with calibration? Was the yoke recognised? Anything in particular you had to do like write udev rule, etc? Are your setting saved from one session to the next? John
May 23, 20206 yr Plugged it in and it was recognized, no rules required. No issue losing settings/assignments. It has really been plugnplay!
May 23, 20206 yr Author Really useful to know all this. Plan to use it in KDE Neon - if it plugsnplays in Arch should be easy-peasy. Thanks again! Edited May 23, 20206 yr by betelgeuse John
