May 23, 20206 yr I have a 6Gb GTX 1060 and in P3D5 it's showing as 5Gb. Dxdiag shows 6. Any ideas why? If it were 6 in v5 I would have a bit more headroom. Avsim member since 2002. 1000+ posts on old account.
May 27, 20206 yr Difference is down to Windows is also consuming some VRAM while the in-sim VRAM counter with P3D is showing only the virtual memory consumption by the sim itself. There are other threads in the P3D forum about VRAM consumption since v5 released. I would read a few more of those posts to gain a better understanding.
