Framerates jump all over the place during takeoff

I usually get decent frames. I have my frames set to unlimited, vsync off, triple buffering off. My TV is 4K @60Hz. But upon take off down the runway, the frames jump from like 11, 20, 35, 17, 24, 32, etc. But it appears pretty smooth to me. Not sure why the frames jump like that during takeoff. 

I don't want to lock frames to 30fps and set my TV refresh to 30Hz, because there's so much input lag, especially when I pan around the cockpit.
