May 31, 20206 yr Hello, So I would like to create my own AI flight plans. I would like to take and add some GA planes to the smaller fields around my main base. I know you can use a program AIFlightplanner, and of course you can use UTL and the likes but I want a more targeted approach, where I can add AC to a select number of fields and not fill up a bunch of fields further away... I hope I am clear with what i am looking to do? Anyone got any idea's? Oh BTW this would be for P3Dv4 sim. Thanks Tom
May 31, 20206 yr Sure, it's pretty easy. You also have to have some AI aircraft that you want to use for these plans. I've populated most of my home area training airports with 152 and 172's for circuits and local training. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
May 31, 20206 yr Author Dave, Thanks for the reply. Yes I fully understand the requirements to do so and i have a bunch of GA AI Aircraft. (Orbx GA) So outside of doing a line item at a time how can i do a batch of them. I ran across a excel spreadsheet program that someone developed in the FS-9 days and can get it to work, but it requires a lot of hand correcting to get it to work with the latest version AIFP3. Its a good spreadsheet and i could fix the the issues but the author password protected the the calculations worksheet and i cant fix it. More of an issues is the author name is nowhere to be found so i can not contact them. So you say its east, how are you doing this if i can ask.
May 31, 20206 yr I've always just made them one by one in a text file originally with the odd copy/paste for schools and then hand edit individual departure times etc. AIFP is also invaluable for creating and compiling plans. It doesn't take long to create once you get the hang of it, but custom AI takes time. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
