June 9, 20205 yr I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but after several months of flying the NGXu and being absolutely amazed at its absolute inability to track the flight path on the tighter turns during departures and arrivals I happened to look at the bank angle selector while in the FO view during preflight and realized that it defaulted to 25 degrees in my startup panel state. I've been using that startup state for quite a while now. I use FS2Crew and there isn't a 'check bank selector' setting item during preflight in the SOP (#2) that I am using. Upon reaching cruise, 'select bank selector 10'. At TOD, 'select bank selector 25'. Okay. I'm following SOP, so all should be good. Hard turn to final results in... big overshoots. Rats! Well to quote Spinal Tap, "this one's better because it goes to 11". Set the bank selector to 30, and she tracks line much better in the curves. So.... Just in case you are not an expert, or you landed here because it was at the top of your Google results... I hope it helps. June 13, 20205 yr Author Yep At 30 degrees, she tracks much closer to the line. Try the KBOS PATSS5 SID from 22 L/R (or KLAS TRALR9 SID from 19L) at each setting and observe. I'd hand fly her, but company says I need to engage autopilot at 1000'.
