Astounding, not sure, how you created such effects in the SIM...??

I'd heard about (or, maybe, had read about the sonic boom in such jets...), but, today, I has to look for more....including a couple of RW videos....

One reports, as below. The last sentence floored me...how does one eject (successfully) at > Mach 1 speed, in such scenarios, as below, and live to tell about it, I don't know?

"On 20 September 1995, an F-14A Tomcat fighter jet crashed in the vicinity of John Paul Jones. A fly-by at supersonic speed was performed, during which the engine exploded (due to “compression failure”) 55 miles away from the carrier, USS Abraham Lincoln. Both pilot and Weapons Systems Operator ejected and survived with only minor 2nd degree burns.”

Yes, Dino Cattaneo, a freeware developer, of quite a few amazing aircraft, as I recall,....(I probably had his F-14D in FSX, but never, ported it to FSX:SE, will need to look at it again, for these effects)...!
