P3D V5 CTD

Featured Replies

Hi,

when I am loading into the scenario my P3D V5 gets stuck at 99% compiling initial shaders for a long time.

anyone know how to fix this maybe ?

Thanks

Have you installed a third party shaders, I would delete shaders from C\users\youname\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5, open the shaders folder and delete the content re-start V5 and let it rebuild the default shaders.

Are you using addon weather programs, you should give some indication what addons you have installed and PC specs GPU for one V5 can be heavy on the GPU.

I just had the same problem. Stuck on 99% compiling initial shaders.

I followed the instructions in the quote and it fixed it for me.

Thanks.
