Problem with Windows resizing, sometimes causing crashes

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm using P3Dv4.5HF2 and Windows 10.

For some time now, I have had an odd issue where P3D will start in windowed mode with a very small window in the corner of the screen. The window is so small that it is about the size of the X to close the window. I can maximize it and go to full screen, but if I go back to windowed mode, I can only see the title bar. When trying to back to full screen, I have experienced crashes.

Another oddity is if I go from full screen to windowed and resize the window, I have to maximize the window before going back to full screen. If I don't do this, the simulator view will remain small with the remaining part of the screen black

I've had these issues with a couple of the more recent drivers.

Any ideas on what I should do to troubleshoot? Thanks.

Try backing up your Config for P3DV4.5 then delete the config file and let the sim re-build the Config in default settings then test, also remove any NV settings back to default.
