Garmin Subscription Nav Data Update

Featured Replies

Anybody running Garmin Subscription Navigation Data Updates?

Running X Plane and RealityXP GTN 750.  I have a subscription for Garmin nav data for my real GTN 750 in my airplane so I have fresh nav and terrain data.  The files I download from Garmin don't match file names found in the user manual.  Do I rename them or just put them in a folder and set the path according to the user manual.  Are there any other steps?

The files I get from Garmin:

Thanks for your help with this!

This is the process:

The nav_db2.bin file with current nav data is copied to the SD card as part of the update process.
This file can then be read and copied to the \ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases directory (on a Windows system) which the GTN Trainer uses for its nav data.

Tanks so much for clarifying this.
That worked for the database and the terrain, how do add the updated plates and charts?  When I installed the database not it says no approach plate available.

In that Databases folder, there is a fc_tpc folder which you can replace with your new data.
