October 21, 200619 yr I maxed out all the settings and have 0.2 fps on a Dell 3.06 GHz,1 MB ram, 256 MB Radeon 9700 Pro video card.At 0.2 fps, time stands still, while the the earth continues to age. Yes, I was going faster than the speed of light. Afer 2 hours of flying, my kids caught up to me in age. I decided to pack up FSX and put under a Nitrogen cryogenic freeze (next to Walt Disney) and wait for a cure. Paul Gugliotta
October 21, 200619 yr It's likely your 1MB RAM is causing the slow down. Upgrade to 1GB and you should get at least a 50% boost in FPS. ;-)Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
October 21, 200619 yr Author I can get 10-15 with reasonable settings, thus I am not really complaining. I do get 35+ fsp in FS9. Until I get the addons like LD767, I'll fly FS9most of the time. Then upgrade my computer when both Vista and LD767 or PDMG747 come out for FSX. Paul Gugliotta
