0.2 FPS with FSX

Featured Replies

I maxed out all the settings and have 0.2 fps on a Dell 3.06 GHz,1 MB ram, 256 MB Radeon 9700 Pro video card.At 0.2 fps, time stands still, while the the earth continues to age. Yes, I was going faster than the speed of light. Afer 2 hours of flying, my kids caught up to me in age. I decided to pack up FSX and put under a Nitrogen cryogenic freeze (next to Walt Disney) and wait for a cure.

It's likely your 1MB RAM is causing the slow down. Upgrade to 1GB and you should get at least a 50% boost in FPS. ;-)Gary

I can get 10-15 with reasonable settings, thus I am not really complaining. I do get 35+ fsp in FS9. Until I get the addons like LD767, I'll fly FS9most of the time. Then upgrade my computer when both Vista and LD767 or PDMG747 come out for FSX.
