P3d V5 G1000 displays

Recommended Posts

I don't know if it is me or the aircraft, but in the C208b & C172 the G1000 displays are not as clear in the P3D V5 vs. V4...however, the panels are just fine and readable in both versions.  It is just the PFD & MFD that are fuzzy text.

Try increasing (doubling) the pixel size parameters for the G1000 in the panel.cfg file.

That works for some aircraft..

No, this only displays a part of the screen. It doesn't solve the problem. As this is true for all aircraft with G1000 instruments (including all Carenado and the P3D default Mooney's) it must be a generic v5 problem. For most planes, especially the Carenado's) the display in 3D are unusable.
