Landing / Taxi Lights in P3Dv5

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have been running and tweaking V5 for a few weeks now, and was all set to take it live and start flying regular flights.  I loaded up the Carenado C208 EX at 11:00 PM and turned on my lights and could barely see them shinning on the tarmac.  Think OK maybe its just the 208.  I tried the C210 and it worked fine, an old version of a DHC-2 beaver and lights are all fine.  Loaded up the Alabeo C207 and mostly invisible lights on the tarmac.  Most stock AC (Mooney) seem OK.  OK So I have pictures up on Google if you want to look at them.  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1S6imV0A1ij1KBXGiLhjyxLamCZCXvVtJ?usp=sharing

Thought maybe something was messed up with the AC so I loaded V4.5 back in and they seem to all work just fine.  BTW I am using the same modified AFCAD file for both V4.5 and V5.  I am at a bit of a loss, i am not using any shader modification programs, its all stock.  Seems kind of funny to me.  Anyone have any idea's???

Tom

Next HF will allow to adjust them. By default they will still be too bright. 😉

Good news.  Thanks for the response.  Too bright?  That is the opposite of my problem, its hell getting old and you cant see at night 🙂

Just out of curiosity has anyone heard when the next fix will be out?
