June 23, 20205 yr Hello, can anyone tell me why all of a sudden I am getting a system warning on my GTN750 that states GPWS system failure? then TAWS OK. I have the GTN setup for TAWS A. Thanks Tom
June 23, 20205 yr Author Jean-Luc It was on every launch of the AC (Carenedo C210). It was consistently reported on the terrain page as GPWS failure. It only impacted TWAS mode "A" Mode B worked fine. Now, the good news I seem to have fixed it but deleting the Sys_* files from the GTN NOVOL folder. This seems to have fixed the issue at least as of a few tests this morning. If it would be of any help I can forward the files I removed. Regards, Tom
June 23, 20205 yr Hi, This would indicate a corruption of some sort in these files. I won't guarantee anything fast with these because of the workload, but I'd appreciate you could pass them along. You can PM me a URL to download from.
