June 23, 20205 yr OK, so this is a pretty specific question. I'm planning on migrating my FSX rig from my old desktop PC to my 2020 MacBook Pro (i5, built-in Iris Plus Graphics), via Parallels Desktop. Now I'm wondering if there is any way to run FSX in multiple windows, such that I can have the cockpit or gauges on its own monitor? The monitor would actually be my iPad, hooked up through Sidecar, but that detail shouldn't make a difference. So yeah, can an FSX simulation span more than one window such that this could work? Thanks so much for any help.
June 24, 20205 yr Can you try with Bootcamp instead? I doubt the MacBook GPU will be enough for FSX+addons, and having it running through a virtual machine such as Parallels only complicates things further.
