June 26, 20205 yr Hi, I'm building a Diamond DA40 mock up for use with P3D in a VR sim. As the finished product will be VR based, I'd like the real world feel and operation of the throttles etc to be as close as possible to those of the real aircraft i.e., parallel linear sliding type (pictured below). There appear to be plenty of the curved (Piper) style throttle quadrants available, but from what I can see no linear type. If anyone knows of a provider/manufacturer of this style, a pointer in their direction would be gratefully received. Many thanks, Herc Edited June 26, 20205 yr by Hercfeend
July 5, 20205 yr Maybe just buy something similar if you can? There are Experimental parts out there that would be cheaper than one for a certified AC......Even a Written off DA 40 will have those components sell for a high price since they are "certified" and will retain value... https://www.aircraftspruce.ca/menus/ap/controls_quadrants.html?pageno=1 Les O'Reilly
