[Answered] Any suggestions for VR pilots?

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

I fly almost exclusively with my Odyssey +.

Any suggestions for better looking lighting?  They all seem exaggerated (all lights, not just Reborn) in size.

Thanks in advance,

Glenn

Hi Glenn,

I don't own any VR headset so I can't comment on it. However I had 2 beta testers with full size share cockpits. One using projectors and other using large screens.

For them the default lights from P3D looks really big given the type of configuration they use. With AI lights reborn pro they select use FSREBORN scaling techniques and reduce all the effects sizes to the minimum (-90 %). That is the level of flexibility AILRP provides.

This allows them to perceive the lights much closer as how people perceive them with normal screens, improving the level of realism and their visuals.

As a follow up, this had made them look much better in VR.

Thank you Simbol for your as-always prompt and great advice.
