July 7, 20205 yr I have a new X-56 and I haven't used it much except plugging in to see if it worked. Finally got around to actually flying with it but it's no longer working. All the buttons and the mini radar cursor thumb stick work but the joystick itself does not. Is there a way to reset this or is it just dead?
July 7, 20205 yr Have you gone into windows control panel and had a look at the calibration? July 12, 20205 yr Author Yes. No output from the X,Y, and Z axes. They don't even register. No signal at all. As I said, I hadn't even used this operationally yet. Just plugged it in to a powered USB hub. When I was actually going to fly with it the first time, that's when I noticed there was no output. It was working originally. I thought there was a way to manually reset it via button presses. Edited July 12, 20205 yr by TallTanBarbie
July 13, 20205 yr ... I'm not much help I'm afraid.. sorry. If the axes don't work and yet some of the buttons do, then I'd be tempted to think that something has physically unplugged, detached or developed dry joints in the solder. Is there a switch on the stick for PC and console operation? Have you somehow yanked the wire without noticing?
