v4.5 transport categorty jets - Freeware?

Featured Replies

Hi all - I generally just like flying small GA aircraft for P3D, but every once in a while I feel like hopping in a 737, an ERJ or a CRJ for some high altitude sightseeing. Because I like the REX weather addons for v4.5, do you guys (and gals) have any suggestions for a good aircraft of the type that is freeware? Because I don't intend to even halfway seriously learn the aircraft, I don't feel like spending money on it. Unless it's a great plane for $20 or something like that.

Thanks!

The Qualitywings 757 is $15 and their bae146 is $20.

This 787 package is free and I've seen some positive reviews. Obviously not an accurate cockpit, but its free: https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/24771/fsx-boeing-787-dreamliner-mega-pack/

And I remember hearing about this CRJ 200 as well...

Lastly the current carenado sale can get you into some biz jets or transport category turboprops for around $20.

Of all these, I'd probably go for one of the QW products as being easy to jump in and fly without any real deep systems learning.

Or...pick up the Majestic Q400 for under $50 and have a real nice addition to your sim that can make for a nice transition from GA to airline flying. You can use smaller fields and it isn't a pushbutton tubeliner - very hands-on and engaging. I picked up the pro on sale over the holidays for half off... Great plane and fun to see just how short a runway I can get in and out of...

There's also this for $25...since you mentioned the ERJ...

Thanks! I actually came across the QW 757 and it looks to be pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Just a fun jet for some entertainment flying. I'll check the ERJ's as well!
