July 10, 20205 yr Hello. I use FS2Crew and UGCX. Some airports have parking spots that can only be accessed via tow (such as Northwest Cargo at KSFO for the 747-8F). My normal procedure is to stop prior to the tow area, run the shutdown procedure and checklist, and call for the tow. This generally works OK except that the shutdown procedure also puts in the chocks, which messes up UGCX, and opens the doors, which just looks bad. If this is the proper way to do things, can we add a "Tow to parking" arrival option that prevents the chocks and doors actions for running? Or am I doing this wrong ... is the shutdown checklist not run until the airplane is at its stand? (PMDG?)...I guess it's PMDG... So UGCX opens the doors after calling "tow-to-parking"?...just asking to make a picture in my mind to what's going on... Manuel
July 11, 20205 yr Author Yes, I am using the PMDG 747. No, FS2Crew opens the doors and sets the chocks when I run the shutdown procedure. It would be nice if FS2Crew had a "tow-to-parking" option for its UGCX integration that suppresses these actions when I intend to use UGCX to call for a tow. July 13, 20205 yr Commercial Member I see!, this is because FS2Crew (the gauge app) is sending those commands. We can coordinate with Bryan,to avoid this to happen. So it doesnt does that. Passing mic to Bryan Manuel
