July 15, 20205 yr Wondering what the opinions are for just 1 49" Odyssey G9 monitor for the new sim? I believe there is an older model and the newly released one from Samsung. Thanks! Anthony Neumann
July 15, 20205 yr Moderator For any flight sim I wouldn't go near it. And without knowing your CPU/GPU impossible to know if you have a system capable of supporting it. 16:9 or possibly 21:9. July 16, 20205 yr Author GTX2080 I74790 why are you against this? Just curious I have no experience with this large of a screen. I liked the idea of only one screen and having the wrap around affect. Anthony Neumann
July 16, 20205 yr Moderator @antney79, there is no technical reason not to have it. It’s pure subjective. I prefer 16:9 UHD and have never been a lover of wraparound wide angle screens. Just make sure you can return it if you don’t like it. The vertical aspect is compromised to give you wide angle. Ray (Cheshire, England).
