December 11, 200520 yr All it takes is a little snow, and....http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135418.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135419.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135420.jpgThe 182 parked next to my Dakota.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135421.jpgEven a 182RG was not immune, but the 206's were unaffected.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135422.jpgPipers are also unaffected, unless, of course, one is having an engine overhaul, as is the case with this Cherokee 180. ;-)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135423.jpgI'm still a bit achy after shoveling out the Dakota yesterday, but at least I got to fly her today. Also, it's a lot easier to clean the snow off the top of a low wing!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135424.jpgRegards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg
December 11, 200520 yr Are you making a patch to convert all DF aircraft to this new trend? :)Ouch, hope there wasn't too much damage to those aircraft. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
December 12, 200520 yr Real pleasant memories, "cool" pictures. However, in the bone yard one gets different perspective. After a Hurricane, the planes don't look like planes any more. Sorry, I have no pictures for you.You may already have seen those results. Still helping a friend with his RV-4 at KORL,In the hanger, which was no protection, when it got busted, this year. The wildest thing that was reported after that "Charlie Thing", last year, was skid tire marks under the ceiling in some hangers,at KPGD.The force, and I don't mean Darth Vader,is unbelievable. Could use a few snowballs down here! Not "Christmas" with out it them! "Come on Down!" Bring some with you! Linger a while, watch them melt!In the warm sun! VIN :-sun1
