FSX photos

I noticed in the missions area there is a place to save your photos. How do you take photos to save in that spot. I completed the Sitka sunset and recieved the photo but that was not in that location.

That was a postcard not a photo. To grab screenshots just press V.

Thank you. Works like a charm. One more question....I see that there is only a "print" for the picture. Does anyone know where these pictures are kept so that I could send them through email?

Replace "yourname" above with your login (and drive letter if necessary).EDIT: also, you may want to convert them to .jpg's, they are saved as .bmp's, and are large files.Flt300z

I tried taking around 60 photos using the "V" key in FSX.The problem is the photos are BMP's and are around 3MB each! When I tried to view them, it brought my system to it's knees and took minutes just to load. (I have another folder with over 1500 Jpeg files ranging from 100Kb to 300Kb which loads much quicker)A better way is to download a "screen shooter" program from the Avsim file library. When you run this program, you can select the same default directory to save your JPG's to. That way you could view them from within the FSX photos section. To take photo's you just press the prntscr button. Each photo would only be around 300Kb maximum, but you can select a smaller size.I hope if a patch is released, they change BMP's to smaller JPG's, and also have a Next and Previous button to view the photos.
