iFly 747 for FS2004

Recommended Posts

Hi Gerald,

Again thanks for the reply regarding FS2004. All good with the setup. Grandson will think it's great.

Tested iFly 747

The following was noted.

beacon light ON does nothing (should probably go to "both") OFF is ok.
all fuel pumps ON ok except Main 3 OVRD FWD/AFT. OFF does nothing as well.
hydraulic demand one AUTO or OFF does nothing
hydraulic demand two AUTO or OFF does nothing
hydraulic demand three AUTO or OFF does nothing
hydraulic demand four is ok.

If memory serves we had these same issues with the P3D version and got iFly to send you the SDK.

Regards,
Harry

Which "mciFly74.dll" version do you have in \Flight Simulator 9\MCE dlls\ folder?

The one that came with 2.8.6.0 that I downloaded and installed fresh yesterday.

mcifly744.dll 97.2k 06/11/2017 13:03

These are the files in that folder all with the same date stamp. Many less files than in the P3D folder.

mccs729.dll
mccs759.dll
mcft739.dll
mcftA3X.dll
mcftemb9.dll
mcftERJ9.dll
mcftLegacy9.dll
mcgeneric.dll
mcifly739.dll
mciFly744.dll
mcld76.dll
mcpmd119.dll
mcpmd739.dll
mcpmd749.dll
mcpss779.dll
mcqw146.dll
mcqw757.dll
mcwcoev1.dll

If I'm seeing these files right the PSS 757 isn't there. If not is it a big deal to add it? All the others I have look to be included.

Thanks for reporting this.

It appears, the installer is still shipping the old dll for FS9.

The SDK is the same be it FS9, FSX or Prepar3D.

Download this dll (which already ships in the MCE dlls> folder for FSX, and replace the one in \FS9\MCE dlls\ folder

The dll count is lower because there wasn't a new aircraft worth interfacing in FS9 since iFly 747 release.

Are all the other FS9 dlls correct and up to date in line any subsequent changes made to FSX and Prepar3D? Is the PSS 757 supported?

Thanks

From PSS, only B777 is fully supported.

Only 757s supported, the ones from Quality Wings and Captain Sim.
