August 18, 20205 yr I have got MSFS through the Game Pass for PC beta. Several things is unclear for me. First I don't see where it is installed. I was only prompted for a folder to download packages to but not an actual installation folder which I expected. Also under Control Panel and programs there are no entry for MSFS so I could uninstall it (in case I want to replace it with another version). Also I would like a manual since it is not completely clear how to or to best use it. I have read that the boxed version is delivered with a printed manual. So there seem to be a manual. And I would expect this manual somewhere as a PDF file or ? But where ? Or do we have to buy a boxed version to get a manual ?
August 18, 20205 yr The folder is Your drive\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe If I go in Window Settings, in the APP section, I see MSFS installed, with the option to uninstall it. i9-11900K (5.3 GHz), 64 GB RAM (DDR4 3600), RTX 3070, 1 TB (M.2 SSD). Windows 10 Pro. Installed Sims: MSFS 2020.
