I've heard rumors there's a 3070Ti/Super model coming that will have 16GB but we'll have to see if that actually happens. If it does that would be a sweet spot in price/performance for sure if Nvidia's claims of the standard 3070 outperforming a 2080Ti are in fact true. Part of the big price difference is the 3090 is essentially a new Titan card, they just decided to name it 3090 instead of having yet another Titan model to confuse people. Again, surprising but really not. They know full well the hardcore 'have to have the newest latest best' guys will buy the 3090 and pay up for it. Really appears the 'crippled' that 3080 on purpose. This is the same marketing model Porsche and other high end brands use for the early adopters. Absolutely the 3070 and some other variants will follow once they sufficiently clean out the early adopters with zero competition from AMD (yet).... SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
