Greetings from a newbie to Flight SIMs

Featured Replies

Hello... I am new to Flight SIMs intending to get the MSFS 2020 in the next couple of days once the initial rush subsides. However I am not new to SIMMING as I have been using SIMs (RealFlight, ACCURC) to practice moves using RC Helicopters for almost 10 years. I am hoping to translate my RC flying and SIMMING experience to flying real airplanes on a Flight SIM.

Here is a youtube video I made of a practice heli flight on an ACCURC SIM...

Welcome to Avsim. Quite a few people here into RC stuff too as well as the big ones, including me. 🙂

Welcome! Nice 3d moves. It's been a while since I last flew any RC heli's. I'm not a fan of 3d, well not enough of a fan to want to set a heli up for it and learn the moves, but I do have mine set up so that they can loop and roll. Kind of "like a full size heli...plus a bit of added performance."

Thanks for the welcome! I am really looking forward to getting started using MSFS 2020 soon... I know the initial learning curve will be steep but I am looking forward to the challenge. 🙂
