August 19, 20205 yr Ratty almost 5-year old PC with the following specs: i5 6500 8 Gigs System Ram 4 Gig AMD Video card 1. Download and installation went smoothly. Took about 3 hours to download everything. I got a 1-month subcription to Gamepass. 2. Booting into the main menu took a while, but went smoothly also. 3. UI extremely intuitive, easy to use. Took me about 30 minutes to figure things out (if you can't figure things out, you didn't try hard enough). 4. I'm having crashes after flight planning, but I managed to load into a small German airport, EDAH Heringsdorf with the Cessna Citation CJ4. Results:
August 19, 20205 yr Author 5. Moving around in the UI was smooth. No major lag. 6. Sim was set to "live weather" 7. ATC worked but no sound. Overall, this is a fantastic "rebirth" of a beloved franchise. The detail even at my (suggested by the sim) "medium settings" is just fantastic. P3D can't hold a candle to this.
