Thanks for all the hard work, with the tweaks and mods I went from 6-15 fps max to an average 25-35 and up.Thanks to you I can now enjoy FSX liked I never thought possible on my pre-Vista, DX10 system. Thanks again to all of you who have shared your time and help.Jerry

I will second that - thank you to everyone, I can run FSX with dense scenery and everything turned up to high and it's smooth, no stuttering, and looks fantastic (better than FS9 which I run at full settings). My FPS is about 10-25, and still tuning, hoping I can coax a little more from it - but for me, the important thing is, it flies smoothly and is very responsive, even in heavy weather, and the fact it looks so wonderful is a real bonus!

I think time and patience are winning. I too would like to thank those that helped so far to increase the enjoyment of FSX.With a few tweaks in the CFG and some patient slider adjustments I have found a sweet spot for low, medium and high settings for city, suburb and rural flying.Ian.
