August 20, 20205 yr Hey all, After trying MSFS for the first time the other day I was so disappointed with the performance - stutters, instability, crashes. I was almost about to give up and wait a few months for it to get better with bug fixes and updates. I could't understand because I'm running a fairly good setup - i7 8700, 32GB DDR4 2666, GTX 1080Ti. I had Hyperthreading disabled because P3D runs better without it. So I thought I'd try turn it back on in the BIOS and see if there's any difference - Wow it's almost stupid how much of an improvement that made. The thing is actually playable for me now and doesn't run like garbage! Thought this might help others who experienced the same thing.
August 20, 20205 yr Yep, exactly the same for me with my i7-7700K. I concur with every word you wrote 👍 Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.
