August 20, 20205 yr Hi, as DV20 Pilot, I want simulation as close as possible. But I could not find how to put the keys for enable/disable the Carburator Heat to a keyboard or joystick button. It cannot be found anywhere. The only way to activate/deactivate is via the mouse in the cockpit itself. Any hints/ideas? Thanks!
August 20, 20205 yr Administrators Welcome! 😄 DV20 pilot in the real world? did you download the available keyboard control button pdf? https://www.dropbox.com/s/ewgezv7zkkdp6ag/keyboard_util_large.pdf?dl=0 Just checking the sheet, it uses the same buttons as FSX: h -for anti ice (probably carb heat also) Shift+h- for pitot heat Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. August 21, 20205 yr Author Yes, real pilot. Mainly on the Diamond products. Anti Ice means Carburator Heat - never thought of that. This even works to assign it on a throttle Quadrant, like the DV20 has a 3 lever cockpit. Carburator Heat, Throttle, Prop. Awesome! Thanks a lot!
August 21, 20205 yr Another DV20 fan... that makes two of us 🙂 I did my PPL training in the fantastic DV20 from 2001 to 2003. I had wondered about that as well. Thanks for bringing it up!
