Photogrammetry cities - wow!

Featured Replies

Done a small number of sightseeing flights now whilst dialing in the controls, sensitivity, setting up keyboard and yoke assignments etc.  It is mighty impressive that we have good quality satellite coverage for the whole planet in the stock sim but the photogrammetry cities are on another level.  My first taste was New York, tonight Disney World Orlando!  My missus is a huge Disney fan so I took her for a sightseeing trip and wow is all I can say.  All the hotels and buildings are exactly like real life even the roller coasters are modeled and you count the lines in the car park (parking lot) on the disney theme parks it blew my mind ha, from 500 up its stunning.  Granted if you take the drone down to sea level the cracks start to appear but that's not the point of a flight sim is it.....

Not sure if this is common knowledge but this article outlines all the cities which benefit from photogrammetry....
