Not sure if tech questions goes in this forum. My Samsung Monitor has in-Menu turning FreeSync on.

So I duly turned-off V-Sync in MSFS2020. I read FreeSync is released by AMD ti rival GSync, and both are better than V-Sync.

What I dont understand is why when V-Sync is off the FPS limiter is disabled

Because if you’re using freesync or gsync, the monitors refresh rate sticks with the frame rate, so, there is absolutely no reason to limit the frames anymore. Your monitor is doing it for you. Per frame.
