My setup is similar. I only have 8 GB of RAM and standard clock speed. After installing and running the sim it defaults to medium settings. I was able to put some sliders to high and still get a very fluid performance. Mind you, that was all in the smaller GA aircraft and not near big cities, because that's the kind of flying I like. I haven't got a clue how my old system will cope with the airliners at big hubs. I'm pretty sure though it won't be a great experience.

Cheers, Bert

Thanks,

That's the type info I was looking for. Glad I got one good response before I deleted my message. I fly airline routes with B737 and larger aircraft almost exclusively. I have a feeling

that I will not be satisfied with my current rig.  All is OK though, with my current Prepar3D v4.5 setup and over 215 GB of Orbx scenery I get very good performance at the highest settings.

I will be content with that.
