October 29, 200619 yr I use a cheapie joystick, a Logitec USB, but it does have 11 programmable keys + throttle so it works fairly well for FSX. Well, I have been using the Logitec Gaming Software to program the keys and then starting the FSX game executable thru the Logitec Gaming Software. I decided to just start the FSX executable and program the joystick keys directly in the FSX program (in the settings menu). Well, FSX runs MUCH smoother now.... most of the studdering during turns in the sim are gone.
